Dear Love Mavens, Joe and I have been best friends for years, we've laughed and cried together for years, nurtured one another, fought and made up a million times. But as best friends forever, we've weathered every storm and remained BFF. Living in Sin?????

Dear Love Mavens, We met in School.  Moved to Tucson and my significant other and I were fortunate enough to find jobs and moved into a tiny apartment together. We have been living together for four years totally committed/  I love him.  We love our jobs, living in Tucson and our time together is perfect.  But times passes quickly and now after four wonderful years I have never heard him mention marriage or anything close to it. First I thought we were fresh out of school, no jobs, money was an issue and too new a relationship for anything serious. Now after four years  all our previous issues are resolved and it's time for him to commit, but he appears to be very comfortable with our living conditions.
